A winning material mix for the new 2017 products by Tonelli Design
Tonelli design, manufacturer of welded glass furnishing accessories, presents for 2017 six new proposals made by international designers, based on the material mix.
Among these you can find the new entry “Dazibao Ceramic” by Gonzo - Vicari with a marble effect ceramic wall panel, available in the finishes Noir Desire, Calacatta Arabescato and Grigio Orobico, with light dark streaks.
The brand’s iconic table Livingstone is also presented in three new marble effect finishes for the top, while the finishes in brushed bronze, brushed branch, brushed gold and glossy gunmetal are for the legs.
With the new METROPOLIS (a quotation taken from Fritz Lang's silent movie), Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà wants to point out the concept of visionary architecture underlying the project. The furniture collection created by the designer is characterized by a pleasant material contrast, given by the combination of glass and ceramics that includes dining and living rooms’ tables, side-tables and consoles.
More specifically, Scutellà aims at going beyond the traditional concept of table conceived as a 4-leg plan, proposing an unusual and original micro architecture through a split-level.
There are also new mirrors and dressing-tables, including the wall mounted "Aperture" designed b Karim Rashid, characterized by a minimal design and equipped with a practical storage compartment, available in pink, white or black, which lights up with LED light thanks to a motion sensor.
DOOORS, Matteo Ragni's design, then follows with its three overlapping glass plates, which help to optically increase the depth of the surrounding space. The plates are supported and spaced apart by a wooden frame, available in white or black, which is in turn reflected by the different layers of the mirror, becoming an integral part of the project.
Finally there are: the wall mirror with a black painted wood back and the golden metal central circle OZMA by Viola Tonucci; the furniture element conceived as an entrance wardrobe or room SHOJI by the Studio Hosoe Design and Lorenzo De Bartolomeis; WELCOME by Uto Balmoral born from the combination between marble and glass.
