"Felix the Cat" by Ceramica del Conca is nominated for the International Licensing Award
There is also the porcelain stoneware collection Felix the Cat by Ceramica del Conca among the 154 nominations at the International Licensing Awards 2019 announced in New York by LIMA (Licensing Industry Merchandisers Association), the leading association in the licensing market around the world whose turnover exceeds 260 billion dollars.
The selection has been made by a jury composed of 150 members from 18 different countries that will announce the winners on June 4th at the Las Vegas Licensing Expo 2019.
As the only Italian company to compete in the category “Best Product - Home Décor”, Ceramica del Conca stipulates licensing agreements since 2013. The first project involved the production of ceramic coverings with illustrations by Milo Manara. There are also the collections with Lupin the Third, Valentina by Guido Crepax, ending with the iconic feline celebrating its 100th birthday. All the collections are now in the general catalog of DEL CONCA and contribute significantly to the recognition of the brand.
With the recent collection #FELIXTHECAT, launched during the last Cersaie 2018, the brand aimed at satisfying not only Felix and comics’ fans, but also those who want to give their living spaces special and original decorative elements. In particular, the line of tiles for interior design is divided into #REMEMBER FELIX (the vintage decoration in which each piece is a story) and the #THE CAT IS BACK decoration, of pop inspiration.
