Stone and wood effects on stoneware for the new collections by Piemme

The three collections of surfaces signed by Ceramiche Piemme will have a preview in stars and stripes. The new lines of indoor and outdoor floors and walls coverings made of porcelain stoneware - Stone Concept, Freedom and Fleur de Bois - will reach Coverings in Atlanta, from May 8 to 11, at the Italian Pavilion, to present themselves on a market that - as the Commercial Director of the company Massimo Ganassi explains - “with its dynamism, represents one of the most important outlets for the export of Made in Italy ceramics”.

Stone Concept is inspired by reclaimed stone and, in particular, the white Burgundy typical of medieval French courts: a sedimentary calcareous rock with light and different streaks. The shades, ranging from white, beige and gray, covers 8 different formats and 2 decorations, in line with the recovery of ancient laying and surfaces.

On the other hand, Freedom recreates on stoneware the natural effects of Hautville stone, which was used for example for the covering of the facade of the Empire State Building and the base of the Statue of Liberty. The high chromatic variation of this stone – from white to beige, hazel to gray – is combined with 6 versatile formats.

There is also a proposal based on the beauty of wood: Fleur de Bois interprets the essence of walnut with a new mix of American and Italian walnut, made even more natural and faithful by advanced digital technologies able to recreate longitudinal grains and special used effects. Moreover, the formats offer different methods of installation, from the classic ones to the chevron.
